Description

Do you have a bunch of broken computer chairs that still have a few perfectly good wheels on them? Use this model to give those wheels a new life! Context: I designed this to help my students transport their robot boxes at the VEX Robotics World Championship. My students combined this bracket with some angled aluminum that would form the base of the trolly. Their robot box fits inside and makes it much easier to tansport around. You can also easily use a sheet of plywood as the base. I bought these cool rollerblade wheels to use on the trollys to make them roll smoothly, easier to push on various surfaces: https://www.amazon.ca/HOLKIE-Replacement-Rollerblade-Wheels-Set-Hardwood/dp/B0CR7KKSHF Support: On build plate only (or run it without support if your printer has great bridging. Important: Print on the angled side at 50% infill, cubic pattern. (Printing at an angle will help resist sheer forces) Designed in Fusion 360 (file provided) Best results so far was with Duramic PLA+ Filament. Cheap PLA filaments will shatter when the trolly hits a bump or crack in the road. I am currently testing in PETG and TPU for higher durability. Will post the results here.
