Cox Reed Valve .049 Model Airplane Engine Display Stand

A simple display stand for Cox .049 radially mounted reed valve model airplane engines. Other brands and or sizes of engines may fit, please let me know. The mounting holes are 2mm in diameter and the mounting area is 6mm thick, so obtain mounting hardware to suit. I can report that #2 x 3x8" round head wood screws are slightly too long, so the points protrude from the back side of the mounting plate. Brass screws can be trimmed with side cutters if required. If you have any suggested improvements or changes, please let me know. PLEASE NOTE - The stand pictured with the engine installed was an early version with two sets of mounting holes. I decide the second set of holes was not required so I removed them for the final version.
