Creality Hi Waste Bin

In the market for a voluminous zero miss filament waste bin? Look no further! The waste bins I was looking at for my Creality Hi were just not quite big/tall enough for my liking. To add, most bins I was seeing, had very thin walls and I was not a fan. This prints clean and neat with 3mm walls. I'm learning SolidWorks and took the challenge on as a project. So, I modeled this. With a tall backboard, you won't find filament on or around your printer. ONLY in the bin! Mostly because when printing taller multi-color prints, I don't want filament to be tossed to the floor for our pets to potentially ingest. I printed with 3 walls and 25% infill. I've been told "it's a waste of filament." ... Okay, then don't print it. 🤷♂ The model comes with adjustable feet in case you need to glue them to the bin. My printer is on a vibration isolator so I needed 15mm of legs. 😊 Let me know what you think and thanks for looking!
