They shouldn't go past the frame's thickness to avoid damaging any internal components. *The PLA version has some tolerances that are too tight. Everything works, but not like with ABS. The final version was adjusted for ABS. I'll revisit the PLA version and update the project. Depending on whether you're printing in PLA or ABS, use the STL files for the corners labeled PLA or ABS. All the parts are the same except for the corners. In the ABS version, the walls are 0.75mm wider due to material shrinkage when cooling. This difference ensures there are no gaps between the pieces. However, if you encounter any fit issues, I've included STEP files so you can adjust the corners to better suit your printer. *Approximately 235g of filament /////BOM to print (alll versions - ABS or PLA): 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BACK_VENT 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BACK_WALL 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_VENT 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_WALL 4 x LID_RISER_K1C_HANDLE 2 x LID_RISER_K1C_NORMAL_VENT 2 x LID_RISER_K1C_NORMAL_WALL /////CORNERS for ABS version (without bolts) 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_CORNER_ABS (without bolts) 3 x LID_RISER_K1C_CORNER_ABS (with M3x55mm bolts) LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_CORNER_ABS_BOLT LID_RISER_K1C_CORNER_ABS_BOLT /////CORNERS for PLA version (without bolts) 1 x LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_CORNER_PLA 3 x LID_RISER_K1C_CORNER_PLA (with M3x55mm bolts) LID_RISER_K1C_BUMP_CORNER_PLA_BOLT LID_RISER_K1C_CORNER_PLA_BOLT /////ABS OPTION I used the preset settings for ABS in OrcaSlicer to print. The extruder and bed temperatures depend on the type of filament being used. *I'd recommend preheating the chamber to at least 40ΒΊC before starting the print. Only activate the chamber fan after it reaches 50ΒΊC. /////EXTERNAL WALLS Outer brim only: Brim width: 5 mm Brim-object gap: 0 mm Supports: only on the Back Wall, at the tube entrance Seam position: Back /////VENTS and HANDLES Outer brim only: Brim width: 1 mm Brim-object gap: 1 mm Supports: N.A.
