Creality K1 / K1C Riser / Top Hood with Vents (Removable Magnetic)

Update 27 July 2025 - I have added a add on that goes on top of my hood design to hold the CFS unit if your do or going to do the upgrade - Here's a Link for it - https://www.printables.com/model/1339316-creality-k1-k1c-riser-add-on-for-my-hood-design 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Update 16-July-2024 - As pointed out by Zaos_2255249 I should change the magnet holes to be 10x5x2mm so that all magnet at that size will fit & if yours is a bit smaller you can just glue into place etc, as different suppliers will have slightly different tolerances. so ive up dated all files to fix this small issue.. I remix a great design to suit my needs better, it suits the way I'm going to be upgrading my K1 Printer. Im doing away with the cable chain so wanted a bit more height in the top, and wanted lots of ventilation for when printing PLA etc. Please share your make when you print yours I’ve added a Split version of the main vented part and a single version for us that are lucky enough to have a larger printer to print it as one piece. PLEASE NOTE - You will need a longer PTFE tube from the extruder to the filament sensor if you take it through how ive done it. Only other thing you should need is Magnets 10mm x 5mm x (2mm deep) The original had the top just sit on and moved around a bit to much for me, and I also wanted to add some more colour to the top so I did a Top Lip which uses M3 x 6mm screws in the 4 corners and it hold the lid nicely in place, and also make the finished model look a bit nicer (in my opinion).
