Take your time, its very easy to make a mistake, I did and had to keep taking apart the gearbox. Please read all. Spacer to force the gear box to be in low gear at all times. I did not like the spring style to move the gearbox between gears as it stretched out and the servo would randomly shake. Its a weird size servo too. Honestly low speed was more than enough for me. It works in NT6. Double check and make sure your gearbox is the same if it is not an NT6. Don't forget to grease as you are already there. Look at the picture above. It will show you were it needs to go. Be careful, if its on the wrong side it will force High Speed. Double check by spinning the spur gear (Part #215101) and making sure its locked in Low, you can do this loose on the bench before you get to far with reassembly Manuals can be found below. There is a ton of spacers and shims, its extremely easy to forget a piece. Ask me how I know. I did remove the spring (Part #41307) but kept the bar (Part #42022) in the gearbox. I recommend the bar because it seals good enough in the holes that originally allowed it to move. The bar should have very small movement. This is normal, the u shape that goes around the gear is slightly smaller than the gear gap. http://www.cross-rc.com/download_list.aspx
