Description
This remix adds an easier way to adjust tension on the tension cam and, to have the option to use the modified ribber arm with the side-mounted posts with the CSM version from JeepingJohnny (MrRoboto19 remix) or my colorwork yarn mast, an additional mount point. All credits go to user Bill Gibson , who remodeled the camshell with the 3rd mount point in CAD (Fusion 360) to remove any irregularities in the base model, it was easy to add the new tension cam adjustment mechanic. See for the compatible ribber assembly: https://www.printables.com/de/model/675625-csm-improved-ribber-with-tappet-drive-pin Additional parts BB ball 4.5mm (1x) M4 hexagon head screw 40mm (1x) M4 hex nut (1x) compression spring: length 11-12mm, OD 6mm, ID 4mm, wire 1mm You can find those springs i.e. in Bondtech BMG extruders, part no. 15026, see: https://www.bondtech.se/product/thumbscrew-assembly/ Alternatively, you can wind a spring yourself, as I did, from 1mm piano wire. Printing For more rigidity, I'd recommend to print with 4 shells and camshell with support only under the part, where the tensioner screw inserts tension cam upside down, no support tension cam screw handle upright, no support Assembly See CAD picture on how to mount everything correctly.
