Description
The containers are designed to be used independently or with Gridfinity baseplates . The bottom has magnet holes for magnetized Gridfinity baseplates. The containers when fully loaded are stackable. The battery model number is printed on the outsides and the insides whenever feasible. The design tries to find the best trade-off between container's capacity, usability, stackability and robustness. Gridfinity specifies container sizes with atomic increments of 42mm for the width (X) and the depth (Y), of 7mm for height (Z). For instance, a 1x2x4 Gridfinity container has sizes of 42mm x 84mm x 28mm. For large batteries, the following dimensions are available (1x1, 2x1 and 2x2). When the battery is too tall, there is also a low clearance version. This is intended to fit in shallow drawers. 1x1 and 2x1 containers can stack on top of most 2x2 containers. If that is not the case, you may use these stackable baseplates by Akio (thanks @avx for suggesting the idea). For cell batteries, there are 2 container sizes: 1x1 and 2x1. Let me know: if you cannot find a container for your battery type, if you encounter a fitting or usability problem, if you have any suggestions.
