Description
If you order a Dell PRO Slim plus with an optical drive, it comes with a drive cage to mount a 3.5" hdd. But no screws. The screws on the website appear to be $4AUD each Here are 4 solutions that can use existing hdd screws you have lying around. 3.5" HDDs use a non metric #6-32. A typical hdd screw is about 5mm in length with varying head shapes and sizes. The original screw likely uses a soft material to dampen vibrations. You could print some of the designs in TPU if this is important to you. All prints have been rotated and can be printed with no supports. Created in OnShape
