Description
Remix of IR Blinx' "Bestfit" STL for 1x & 3x batteries, and my own re-mix for 2x batteries using 6d6178's T-Nut mounting system for IKEA SKÅDIS pegboards. This is based on IR Blinx's original scaled 105% version. Fits DeWalt 18v & 20v batteries. May fit 10.8v, 14v, 24v, 36v, 40v, 54v & 60v batteries as I believe they have similar slide-in track tool interface systems; However I don't have those batteries on hand to test, so YMMV. Let me know which ones work or do not work for those battery voltages and I'll adjust this description as needed. Important note on scaling As IR Blinx Pointed out, you may need to scale this to ensure the correct fit. However, if you adjust the scaling, recommend using the versions without alignment guides to ensure compatibility with the SKÅDIS pegboard. More Info on the Skadis T-Nut Mounting System for IKEA SKÅDIS Pegboards Please see 6d6178's post here: https://www.printables.com/model/228663-skadis-t-nuts-mounting-system-for-ikea-skadis-pegb And the SKÅDIS T-nut Collection with other compatible models here: https://www.printables.com/social/105798-6d6178/collections/291558 Alignment Guides and Supports There are two versions of each, both print vertically and dependent on which version will determine if supports are required. With Alignment Guides: The alignment guide is incorporated into the model (see photo) and thus will require minimal supports for the alignment guides. You may be able to print without supports but YMMV. Without alignment guides: Requires printing of 6d6178's 2.5mm alignment guides included in the files sections. but can be printed without supports. Required and Optional Hardware Required: 2.5mm T-Nuts - See Files Area 2.5mm Hex Nuts 2.5mm Flat Head Cap Screw, recommend at least 20mm in length Optional: 2.5mm Alignment Guides - Need depends on which version you printed - See Files Area Post Processing De-burr of rough edges is important to ensure the batteries slide in and out smoothly, Other Notes Recommend printing in PETG, although the print in the photo was printed in PLA and worked fine after some post processing. Can use 2.0mm mm fasteners and guides, but your milage may vary. Print in photo is of an older version, only difference is that I removed / reduced some unnecessary sections and optimized the model to reduce filament usage in the final version. .
