DeWalt Battery holder - Modular

I really liked the original ("better fit") design but it was limited. I looked at the other designs and found useful features but only 1 or 3. I wanted to design something that would work for all occasions…so I made this modular. Just print what you need! I wanted to give flexibility to the original design so I made these interlocking. Also, I needed to mount mine horizontally (due to vertical space issues). I needed something support the weight of the battery so a wall brace was added. There was a design for a portable rack for a worksite. So I incorporated all of these designs into my remix. There's the base itself (which can still be mounted on the wall, vertically), a back plate to allow you to mount it perpendicular to the wall (adding the slide in wall brace for support). For those that want to be able to carry this to your worksite, I designed a handle that can be added to the backs of 2 or more connected units so you can carry 2, 3, or 4 connected batteries easily. To carry them, print off a handle and a “base interlock” to hold units from disconnecting at the bottom, when lifted. The interlock is slightly smaller to allow for easy placement and includes a centered slot for a flat blade screwdriver to be use to center between the two bases, when carrying. And the handles will fit side-by-side closely to allow for easy carrying two. For 3 or more you can print the handle connector (see photos). The handle has a “foot” to keep the battery assembly from falling forward from the weight. I printed these using Silk PLA on AnyCubic Kobra 2 & Kobra 3 printers, 4 wall loops and a triangle infill pattern. Use support for the BASE model. The revised base is not as fancy as the original but everything is easier to print due to the design changes.
