Description
I use a 7" camera field monitor for test setups. It has a quarter inch screw hole for mounting on a tripod (no VESA mount), but I couldn't find a 3D model for mounting on a DIN rail, so I used a DIN-GoPro mount paired with a GoPro-quarter inch mount. The DIN-GoPro mount needed to be rotated 90° to work with the sloped DIN rails on The Rig , so I made a quick edit in FreeCAD. This part will need to be printed with supports. The GoPro-quarter inch mount in the default orientation will be too weak. The fins snapped right off for me (ABS) when the monitor flopped over. Rotate it vertical, increase the wall count to at least 4, and print with supports. Hardware required: M5x16 or M5x20 BHCS (button head; socket head may block the quarter inch screw) M5 nut Quarter inch screw. I recycled one from a camera quick release plate
