Description
IMPROVEMENTS: Sculpted the bottom of the QRM receiver (v5) and made the webbing slots larger. Added a TPU retraction band (needs 2) instead of using o-rings. My o-rings degrade and I think the TPU will last much longer. Print a minimum of 2, but might as well print a few spares. I've used these prints for many years now with great success. I have them for 25mm diameter lights, 50mm diameter lights and one for both side by side. The receiver (part that straps to your hand) was made with 1-1/2 x 1/2 inch aluminum extrusion. I have now improved my layer adhesion to were I'm ready to print that part. If you want to still make yours out of aluminum you can get the dimensions from the receiver .stl. The parts are designed to have SS screws holding the top and bottom light holders together. I am now using heat set nuts and M3x14 socket head screws. The printed receiver has slots for 12mm x 1mm webbing. The aluminum receiver had the webbing screwed to the bottom of it. Make sure the screws are flush or the light holder (striker) won't go in.
