Description

Derived from my other model “Divided Gridfinity Boxes" but now have added Finger Scoops for getting small parts out of the boxes easier! Included source code and a random selection of box sizes and divider configurations. #adjust these three variables to change the grid size x_grid_number = 1 #CHANGEME! 1+ number of x units of gridfinity size y_grid_number = 2 #CHANGEME! 1+ number of y units of gridfinity size unit_height = 3 #CHANGME! 2+ number of units -- unitless in integer #adjust these variables to change the number of divider walls x_divider_number = 0 #CHANGEME! number of divider walls y_divider_number = 2 #CHANGEME! #^ for this scooped version, recommend, x_divs is fixed at zero #and y_divs is adjusted as desired disable_mholes = True #disable magnet/bolt holes in container disable_scoops = False #use this to switch scoops on/off, #^scoops are only on face perp. to x-axis and on one side #^scoops do not take into account divider walls #by default they are the max allowable size I used CadQuery/CQ-Editor to design this with a recent version checked out from github on April 13th, 2022. Unfortunately CadHub.xyz does not have a recent enough version of CadQuery to render this properly (n.b. the issue is with lack of a combine argument in the older version of the eachpoint method). CQ-Editor is available on github at CadQuery/CQ-editor, but the latest stable release will NOT run the included cadquery source code, so please instead use a static build from here: https://github.com/jdegenstein/jmwright-CQ-Editor/releases/ REVISION HISTORY: 220518 Rev 1 Added the ability to disable the magnet/bolt holes in the CadQuery source code
