Description

I wasn’t fully satisfied with most height indicators I found on Thingiverse. In my experience, they were either not very sturdy, didn’t fit well after printing, or were prone to breaking. A lot of them also don’t visually represent height clearly, they just indicate a fixed value rather than building up to it. This model is my own take on a stackable height indicator. It’s designed as a modular tower system with a separate top piece that can hold a medium creature mini. The segments stack securely, and I’ve tested it up to 120 ft in height without stability issues. One tower = 5 ft in height. For best results, print with 3 shells (perimeters), a 0.4 mm nozzle, and around 25% infill. The parts are designed with 3 shells in mind, using fewer may result in a loose fit between segments. The tower sections should be printed upside down with supports. The top piece can be printed flat and does not require supports.
