Description
This model is based on Zack Freedman's Gridfinity and Kyle Warren's screw together adaption. My version uses a dovetail connection to connect individual modules into any configuration. A step file is included for modification and adaptation. No support is required, however, I use support in the dovetail voids and they pop right out. Accommodation for 6x2mm magnets is on top and it doubles as a counterbore for #4 screws. This version is 8mm tall and made from PETG, it snaps together nicely without tools. v2 has moved the dovetails to make them equidistant when modules are put together as can be seen in one of the pictures. It also makes the parametric control of the dovetails MUCH more simple. I will eventually remove/replace v1 models; modules, spacer, and anchor. Butterflies still work. I've included .stl files for modules from 1x1 to 5x5 as well as the parametric SW2022 file. There is an issue with the linear pattern used to control the model that can be fixed with a little creative configuring, but I'll get to it sometime. I have included an all-void 1x1 module as it was requested on another model. Last picture is (10) 2x3 modules with spacers (top and right) with anchors in two corners. All spacers link adjacent modules Butterfly Connector Cleat/Anchor
