Description

After printing 8 sets of the corner clamp, my arthritis kicked into overdrive when I started assembling the clamps. This adapter will allow you to use a drill to quickly tighten & loosen the bolts on the clamp. Also extremely useful for the initial threading to clean the threads and spread lubricant on them. I'm using a 1/2" drill and the hex bit fits great. It might fit a 3/8" drill. Keep in mind that this piece is plastic, so don't use it to fully tighten the bolt - something WILL brreak. Get it close, then tighten the bolt by hand. Also, don't use it at a high-speed. The friction will heat up the parts, causing them to soften. Ask me how I found this out LOL. Lay the adapter on the bed, so that the tip of the drills hexagon and the outer round part are on the bed to increase the strength. Orient the open sides of the adapter to top & bottom to limit the amount of supports. 5 walls, 4 top, 4 side, 10% gyroid infill Lower layer height will help with the strength Normal (Auto) supports PETG or better filament
