Dry Box with Rollers - Desiccant Bin - Pattern Mod

There a quite a few remix options with this bin, and I didn't think to check before making my own - I figured I would add mine to the options. It is still a bit of a torture test for an FDM printer, but I've printed four of them on my X1C, and haven't had any issues. The design is a lot stronger when attaching/removing the basket from the base. Print settings are all pretty standard for PLA. 0.4mm nozzle with 0.20mm layer height. I haven't attempted a print with 0.6mm nozzle yet, so I can't comment on the efficacy, but if anyone wants to give it a shot and report back, that would be cool. - Note - As shown in the comments, the model isn't well suited for high speed 0.6mm nozzle configurations. 05/21/2025 Update: I've added a ‘ThickWall’ version - same pattern, same fitment, but with slightly thicker outer wall. The original wall thickness is ~1.2mm and I increased it to ~1.8mm. This should help with sturdiness, possible 0.6mm nozzle usage (untested), and the space lost for desiccant is negligible.
