Description

I scoured the internet and to my shock it appears not a single person has modeled a drywall sanding block sized for 11 1/4in x 4 3/16in sand paper.. So here it is! Excuse the pink I was using up old filament :D To use just loosen the bolt, slide the sandpaper under the pinch block, press it down with your fingers to crease it in the pinch channel then tighten the bolt. NOTE: Even though the bolt is 3d printed it is surprisingly strong because of it's size and thread type, I haven't broken one yet, however it is advised not to crank it down too crazy hard. I glued foam to the bottom of my block like the store bought ones have since it evens out the finish when sanding but this is optional. PRINT SETTINGS Any hard filament should work, but the stronger the filament the better since it's a work tool. Tress slim support is fine .24 layer height recommended for a mix of good layer strength but also keeping good thread tolerances on the screw parts 4 or 6 wall loops 30% adaptive cubic infill for best strength and lower filament usage Glues stick on bed recommended, I had a corner of my sander pop up from the print bed due to it warping as it cooled. If you would like to leave a tip for my hard work you can do so here :D https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/Y5DRF7PN8S5AJ
