Description
Dual 18650 Batteries Quad for Ardupilot/Betaflight Here is a 3D printed drone frame designed to work with 18650 batteries in a 2S configuration. I use it with Ardupilot but it it also compatible with betaflight if you prefer this route. The 3D printed frame is optimized to work with the following parts: HD video with DJI O4 Air Unit - the small one Flight controller MicoAir MicoAir743-Lite with 50A ESC (micoair.com or AliExpress) 4x Motors AxisFlying C135 5500Kv (AliExpress) 4x GemFan Hurricane 3520 3-blades propellers (AliExpress) HGLRC GPS M100-5883 (AliExpress) Happymodel EP1 ELRS Receiver with T-Antenna (AliExpress) 4x 18650 battery terminals - Keystone 209 (amazon) DIP Switch to enable/disable video (useful while waiting for GPS lock) (optional) Rubber band to secure batteries Small zip tie to attach the ELRS receiver to frame 2x 18650 batteries M2,M3 screws and nuts of various length The take-off weight is about 235-245g. I used OrcaSlicher to print the model, the frame with 3 wall loops and 15% infill (cubic pattern) and defaults for the canopy and other parts. Make sure to use the Arachne Wall generator for all parts. I used M2 and M3 screws set from https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32956487704.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.407.2d201802428nVD Happy flying! 2026-03-27 - Updated canopies made them a little higher (front and back) to help manage wires. - Updated frame to use better batteries terminals: Keystone 209 - Added alternate O4 camera holder without support for ELRS antenna as you may prefer attach the antenna somewhere else on the frame. If you do print this and use it, please post pictures of your make, it motivates me to publish more designs! Print Settings
