Description
This is a remix using Echo Pop Mount from u/brentil and u/kev5962. I had created a battery pack mount for the Echo Dot 3 and added the Pop. Using a USB A to Echo Dot 3 barrel plug, the Echo Dot can function as a portable speaker using an external USB battery. Cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DTQ67B85?smid=A1HPXHJDALABVF&th=1 There are other types of cables without a meter but is up to you. USB Switch since you can't power off the Echo Dot directly. Some battery packs may allow you to power off by holding down the button YMMV: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QQZFYYJ?smid=A33F01JHYVI772&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0F6LNZML2?smid=A11S7BZKNO5ACN&psc=1 The battery pack holder battery base is designed for the Baseus 6000mAh Magsafe power bank but I've included a blank template for you to design your own. Dimensions 98.8mm x 64.3mm. FYI: Not all phone charging battery packs will work. They have to be able to output at least over 12 Watts is my understanding. If you buy a cable and it does not work, try a higher output wall plug first before returning the cable. I've also included a print for the screw spacing. Just convert the screws into "holes" if you want to create your own battery holder base. A larger base model was also added to allow for cord wrap if needed. The screw uses Torx #30 bit. Support is needed for some parts but not the screw themselves due to the geometry and cutouts created.
