Description
I'm sharing this in case someone else can use it. I find it useful for gently removing the spent wort from a yeast starter to end up with "condensed" yeast. Yes, we are into homebrewing here. However, this is a general-purpose device that will suck up liquids from a container, up to a certain elevation. This fits well into a garden hose coupling (i.e. Gardena) and can be connected to your faucet. You stick a suitable silicone hose into the hole in the middle. I did already play with parameters in the FreeCad spreadsheet and directly in the sketch, but YOU are free to continue. I would, however, try this one first. I tried several variants, and this is by far the best. Print it upside-down and use the material of your choice. I used nylon for strength, but cheaper filament can also be used.
