Description

So I loved the original model created by Jan_P. It's very well organized and printed perfectly. it was actually one of the first things I printed on my CC. After a couple of days I had accumulated a few other tools in the area and wanted to combine them all in one place. This remix allows you to add a few extra CC accessories for easy access. allowing you to have a pair of pliers nearby for stubborn supports or other minor things. A sharpie for quick access to label prototypes as well as, well anything a sharpie can write on. The RODSLOTH and Lube Applicator both fit into the added compartment. I placed the RODSLOTH face down which then squeezes the applicator into a perfect fit. Same applied to the compartment I put the Lube container in I added a wrench I use. As for the clippers and pliers I just printed some covers found here on printables for them so I don't accidentally hurt myself. " The caddy will bolt to top front corner of the side panel, using the existing screw holes. You will need two(2) M3 replacement screws, as the original screws are not long enough. The new screws should be 3 mm longer to allow for thickness of the plastic ."-quoted from Jan_P's original model as you will need this hardware. I had some extra M3 screws around this length laying around that I used but this is a necessity unless printing the magnetic model. For this variant you will need 4-6 6x2mm magnets. Below I'll add a link to some magnets as well as from amazon → 6x2mm neodymium magnets → placement holder for link to purchase M3 screws for this model till I get home tomorrow to measure the ones I used. Printed at .16 layer height with no supports and no brim. However, .2 height will print fine and based on your printer a brim may be needed. Below are the links to the tools I use and modified this file for. All credit goes to the original modeler so I will not post them included here but a link below to the original printable files. If you've supported my remix with your download, please support the original modelers as well below. Happy Printing 🥳 Elegoo Centauri Carbon 10-Degree Door Holder Rod Sloth Lube Applicator Tool Cap for "Prusa Pliers" Flush cutter cap Update: July 20 Seems like there was an error message popping up on the old model that affected the sharpie holder. I've since fixed the problem and added the new model so there should be no more error messages and print as intended. Currently I'm working on three additional variants. Adding holes for magnets on the backside as well as the Elegoo logo. I'm trying to learn how to use Blender from scratch and feeling like a monkey banging on a keyboard lol First variant is up and ready. CC Elegoo logo tool caddy. .2 layer height recommendation. I printed in .16, no brim with a tricolor filament. As with any model though, use what your printer is good with. Mainly a brim or supports. while I didn't need them and things printed perfect yours might need these adjustments. Second variant is a WIP right now. There will be an “error: 7 non-manifold edges” message that pops up. It will however print perfectly fine! I wanted get the file out before I am away from my laptop for the day. After fixing the non-manifold error message I will upload the “elegoo logo” version as well as the fixed version for this model as well. If you would like the base model with magnets here is a great remix model by Forkstealer While I am away, feel free to message me or comment anything that you run into that I can adjust or fix. If there's a tool or model you'd like to add also message me. While I am still learning blender it would be fun to add things. Possibly a ducky holder for anyone else that upgraded their Ender model printer before getting the Centauri Carbon with Geetech like me haha.
