Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus Extruder Fan Mod

This was designed to quiet down the extruder fan on my Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus. It may work on other Elegoo printers, but not sure. It also has a finger catch for the filament lever for easier use. There are two versions available. One for an 80mm PC fan, one for using a modified old Intel CPU fan. NOTE the fan voltage is 24V so this REQUIRES either using a 24V fan or a buck converter. I am running the Intel fan pictured at 7V and it cools plenty as well as bring MUCH quieter than the stock blower fan. DISCLAIMER!! I am not responsible for damages to your printer or anything else! This requires cutting the stock blower fan wires to use to connect the new fan and buck converter. Do not do this unless you know what you are doing! Parts needed: Small allen wrenches Small phillips screwdriver Wire cutters Soldering iron 24v adjustable buck converter - This or similar https://a.co/d/02bm3W1x Old Intel CPU fan or 80MM fan Heat shrink tubing or electrical tape Super Glue and rubber band (Intel version) Fan Screws (80mm Version) Optional - Fan grill (80mm Version) This can be printed with no supports!! Print it fan side down and use the "Lay Flat" button so the fan face is fully touching the bed. Use of a brim is recommended on the Intel version for better bed adhesion.
