Description
Description The z-axis timing belt on the Elegoo Neptune 4 series printers is often quite loose, and there is no means of adjusting it. This accessory reduces the slack in the belt, tightening the engagement of the belt on the timing pulleys at the top of each z-axis lead screw. The parts press-fit together and the assembly snaps onto the top, horizontal support brace. The optimal position is right next to and on the right side of the filament holder arm. Additional parts needed: 2x 20-tooth, 3mm bore, 6mm width idler pulleys ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPKWM9D ) Instructions: Press one pulley onto each post on the retention plate (the small part). Ensure the pulley is nearly touching the retention plate. The fit is tight. Press the retention plate with both pulleys attached into the receiving holes on the bracket (the large part). Ensure the retention plate posts are fully seated into the holes. Snap the bracket onto the top-most horizontal brace, while maneuvering the inside length of the belt over the assembly to seat on the inside pulley between the pulley and the horizontal brace. (See photo) Ensure both lengths of the belt are engaged with the teeth on the pulley on their respective side.
