Description
I really like Sneak's modular linking system and wanted something that would attach directly to my Ender 3 S1's bed for nicer timelapse videos. The two screw holes that normally attach to the handle part are used. You will need 2x M3 screws of ~6mm or more. In my photos I used 8mm screws with a nut and washers for some spacing. Whatever length of screws you pick you will have to be careful since they will jut out through your magnetic sheet on the other side if you go too far in. I have only tested this with ABS and printed with it on with a 100° C bed with the part minimally warping a bit after a couple hour print job. However, I would not recommend anyone use this for long, high bed temperature prints as it could warp and sag considerably over time. DO NOT PRINT THIS WITH PLA . The bed heat even at 50°C will deform the piece with PLA. I learned the hard way with the handle stl that came with the printer when I printed it with PLA that sagged and ran into my y rail during a print 🙃. Use your best judgement depending on what you are printing and since I primarily print PLA I feel that this printed in ABS is good enough for me to withstand ~55° C bed temps. This is my first attempt at designing and publishing anything so any tips or suggestions are welcome. I used a combination of Fusion360 and Tinkercad to make this model.
