Description
I changed my enclosures location for all of my printers and I was no longer able to keep my runout sensor where it was. Because I went to linear rails, the mount that came with the Official Creality Filament Runout Sensor wouldn't work, and I needed a different approach. I found this remix of a design and modified it to work with my all metal dual extruder and the runout sensor I had. It also uses a pneumatic fitting that I had for the printer so I can just connect some 2.5 ID PTFE tubing from my Filament dryer outside the enclosure. I had to drill out the holes slightly in the print to make it easier to mount. I've included a file with these larger holes, although due to the way printers print, they still may need to be drilled slightly. I printed it in it's current orientation, using supports, at a 0.2mm layer height. The fitting was difficult to get in, but it was considerably easier with some plyers.
