Description
I'm pretty happy with my new Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo, though in a short time (like 2 weeks of usage) fans started to produce funny noices. Taking to account, that original fan casing hides both fans and it's impossible to see if they are still spinning, I was uncomfortable with this design and decided to model something simpler, which keeps fans fully opened. Resulting model does its job — now both fans are visible, accessible and very easy to clean up from dust and filament strings. Also this solution provides perfect visibility of nozzle and printing area. Model has no latches to fix it in position, but they are not actually needed — resulting detail fits mount very well and holds in place. I used OnShape to create this model. If you want to make changes — feel free to copy and modify original document: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/16b068ed68b792ba32787fab/w/36ddabb2da267bf9f8a272df/e/5088fe40f6502ff76bd1639f Tips for printing: 4 walls (for 0.4 mm nozzle) 100% infill The model is small, so even in high quality (0.12 mm layer) it prints under 2 hours.
