Description

A side-mounted spool holder for the Ender 3 v2. Will most likely also fit the original Ender 3 and 3 Pro as it just needs the 40x40 extrusion behind the left of the machine to support it. This holds the spool directly left of the extruder inlet giving a more direct path, and removing the weight from the top of the gantry to increase stability. 06 Mar 2021 Update - v2.3 increases the slot sizes for the t-nuts from 4.2mm to 5.2mm. This should solve the problems some have had with fitment. The alternative rear-mounted design already has the 5.2mm slots and seems to be ok. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15% Notes: The bracket will print orientated as supplied without supports and 15% infill is strong enough on mine. Remove the original spool holder from the top rail. Leave the T-nuts on the screws and through the original bracket. The open side of the bracket points to the rear of the machine and the spool spindle towards the front. The nuts will slot into the new part a bit tightly, but push until the parts are flush and tighten the bolts into the nuts. Pop the rear cap off the left base extrusion and slide the bracket on. This is also an exact fit but will go on without a problem as long as your first layer didn't spread. Category: 3D Printer Parts
