Description
A webcam mount for the bed that fits the Logitech C920 and probably any other webcam that can be mounted via an ¼" -20 UNC screw. I saw other webcam mounts using the same bed handle but didn't like how wobbly they were with my camera, so I made a thicker version to fit my camera better and to help with the rigidity of it. I also added an elevated platform for a better viewing angle. I used the 12.5mm screw linked in the remix but feel the 15mm would work better. I would lift the camera if using the C920 as it could be clipped by the extruder also it would help with the angle of the camera. If not I would just adjust the hole to be further back to fit your needs. Zip ties for V2 and V3 EDIT: I removed the clip in the back for it to be zip tied instead as I noticed that seems to be the fail point. I also slimmed down the main supports as I noticed it sagging and rubbing against the bump. Printing in petg could help with this flaw but as I don't currently have any I can't fully test if it'll resolve this issue. As seen in pictures I do print in an enclosure so the ambient temperature could be causing that clip to fail slightly enough for it to sag that 2mm. EDIT 2: V3 has removed the clips to opted in for zip ties. EDIT 3: I uploaded the camera support block I use when lifting up the webcam. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused. I included the fusion 360 file to help with any edits/changes that you may need to make.
