Description

Description I needed a good way to keep cables from damaging ceiling tiles, and preferably one I could also use in retrofit situations. I made this after having used quite a few other solutions that are ultimately far more expensive and less effective. The first set of rings is placed at the right depth for standard ceiling tile installation, with additional rings for customizing collar height to your needs. You can print one of each for an install, but if you have a full set of cables or especially heavy cabling I suggest using two opposing collars. Alternatively you can also use a run of electrical tape around the top. Print times vary, but I can print a full install set in about 1.5 hours Side A and B are printable standing up without supports or rafts. Printing I've had success wit Side A & Side B Infill: 13% Supports: None Layer Height: 0.2mm Orientation: Vertical Brim: None Collar / Clip Infill: 50% Supports: Paint on outer ears only Layer Height: 0.2mm Orientation: Vertical Brim: Auto
