ExperiMental Rectangle Trumpet 15

So Swirl, number 15 huh? Is it any better? Probably not. I just wanted to make it look more like a trumpet and not a pocket trumpet. So what's changed? The idea is just that maybe stretching the lead pipe and the exit pipe might make it more like how a real trumpet is. Also, i wanted there to be more straight pipes and less curves, maybe that might help some? I changed the manifold to add some screw holes for maybe a future cap to put on top of the valves. I haven't done that part yet but maybe I'll get around to it. The idea is to keep more of the air inside the trumpet by putting a cap over the valves and have a little rod coming thru for each valve so that less air can escape. Hopefully, I'll have that and the revised valves at some point. I don't know if that will help or not but that's the idea (hey an experiment, right?). Also, I tried to measure the first and third valve slide again, and it seems no matter what I do the measurements measure wrong so maybe this time they are right? Probably not but hopefully closer. That might make the tuning a little better? Not sure, but here's hoping (not hopping although that might be fun). I also added braces for the pipes that you have to glue on later since the trumpet is longer and probably needs some stability help. I think I too need some stability help (or probably my wife thinks so). So yeah, I haven't printed it yet so it may not fit at all and if it does fit it may not work at all and if it does work, no one may care at all and if no one cares at all, then it will make me cry and if I cry then... yeah I don't know where I'm going with that but hopefully someone likes it (besides me that is - I think I like it but I haven't really asked myself - out loud at least). After I get it printed, I'll try to make a video of me trying it out. Again, i don't really expect this one will be better than the last one other than perhaps looking more like a trumpet but I could surprise myself and if I do I hope that doesn't give me a heart attack because then I would not have been able to enjoy this new trumpet for very long. So yeah, yada yada, experimental, try at your own risk, it will probably change, the usual bit. I still need to print it and try it, and whatnot and maybe sleep and wake up and remember what I was doing and then oh yeah now I remember and whatever.
