Description

The files are intended to be used with the Gryphon foam blaster, designed by Flygonial. This is SPECIFIC to the 1.3 version of the Gryphon! Will *NOT* work if you print the 1.2 or earlier Grip, Magwell, etc. Please note also that this will prevent you from using the "right side" battery tray. You could still use the "left side" one or alternately my custom "top" one. I love the improvements of the 1.3 Gryphon overall. However, I find threading wire through the "Mech Cover" to be quite difficult and tedious. This is a modification of the Mech Cover and Wire Channel to have the wire be on the outside of Mech Cover. You only need to thread your wires in Mech Cover through the starting point above the switch, then out the side. TWO versions of Mech Cover are included. One of the changes of the 1.3 Gryphon is that certain screw holes are larger, and allow for the use of a bolt+hex nut to secure these parts. However, I still prefer to use self-tapping screws on both sides. "Mech Cover CUSTOM wirechannel.stl" is the existing 1.3 Mech Cover with the wire channel added. "Mech Cover CUSTOM holes+wirechannel.stl" is the same thing, but has the bolt+hex holes reduced in size slightly so that self-tapping screws still work as they used to. This setup definitely works with 18 AWG size wire, and should likely allow up to 16 AWG size wire. Thicker may be possible, but is untested.
