Description

The newer Ender 3 V3 SEs have different extruder motors, for some reason, compared to the early ones. How can you identify it? The newer ones don't have screw mounts on the sides and have a silver plate compared to the black plate with Ender branding on it that the early models have, which seems the majority of the machines sold on Q4 2023 to Q3 2024 (this information is only hypothetical). If you want to upgrade your cooling to get something silent, compared to the annoyingly loud and high pitched stock 20/25mm fan and have this new extruder, this model might help you. This is part of my own ways to adapt things to use. It basically jerryrigs two parts that had no relation to be one of a different use-case. As of 1/30/2025, I completely changed the model and enclosed the extruder motor because it looks better and I wasn't able to put a extruder visualizer. Recommended Print settings: Infill: 20% for eco, 100% to ensure it won't break so easily LH: 0.20/0.28 (Your choice.) Supports: Yes, trees so you can save a little bit of filament Brim: Yes if your bed has the habit of slinging prints off it Wall-Line count: 3 to start, 4 to a tough like grip on the fan The rest is your choice. YOU WILL NEED TO GLUE THE FAN! Use double sided tape for that or something to make the fit snug enough to not fall off. In the meanwhile, enjoy my classic “Brazilian ways to do do things”.
