Description
A V620 cooler that places a standard blower inside the card's boundary. Note that it makes it about 4-5mm thicker, so it won't work in closely spaced cards, but takes up very little volume otherwise. If you need side by side cards, look at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7296707 which uses a blower attached to the rear of the card. Note this requires removing the top plate. This is not easy to do cleanly. In practice, two of the screws can be removed without much difficulty, then you can pop it off. This will slightly damage the plate itself, but not seriously, and to get it apart without doing this requires completely tearing it down to the circuit board. I used a Rakstore BFB0712HF from Amazon. Note there's a few BFB0712HF variations - this is one that has the 2mm screw inserts on the bottom rather than the larger holes. You'll want to use short (4-6mm) flathead 2mm screws if you want it to sit flat, although button/socket head will work if you shave part of the sled off to let the top sit flat. Other than that, it needs two 16mm M3 screws from the back into the sled, and three 8-10mm M3 screws from the top into the back and sled.
