Filament Swatch and Spare Nozzle Storage Box

Here are two storage trays for holding filament swatches and spare nozzles. The smaller tray holds 30 swatches and 4 nozzles; the larger tray holds 60 swatches and 6 nozzles. Both boxes also have a slot for tongs that make it easy to pull out swatches from the trays. The swatch itself is a remix of a design posted by Ryan on Printables. All other components are my creations. The lid pops into the tray base with a little bit of force. The latch for the lid is a snug fit for the tray so that nothing spills. The tab on the lid must be pulled out with a finger to either close the lid or open the lid. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.8 mm Nozzle; 0.2 mm Layer Height; 0.1 mm Layer Height for Transparent Lid Infill: 20%; 100% for Transparent Lid Filament Material: PLA Notes: One filament swap was done when printing the 60 swatch tray shown here. The transparent lit for the 60 swatch tray was printed under special conditions. Extensive tuning of the slicer settings were done in advance to get the transparent filament to print as clearly as possible. The lid was printed face down on a Creality carborundum glass plate to make the top nice and smooth and improve the transparency. Support was only used when printing the lids (to support the pins that fit into the tray hinge receptacles). How I Designed This =================== Ryan's original swatch design was remixed down to smaller dimensions using MeshMixer.
