Description
I bought this inexpensive JJC negative scanning LED light and holders from Aliexpress for scanning film negatives and slides. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005050118182.html Really liked the light which is bright, well diffused and the correct temperature but I struggled to align it with the lens using a tripod. I was looking for a way to keep it aligned and avoid light leaks when I came across the awesome film scanner made by @FruitieX. You will need: i) Lens Coupler and Extender from https://www.printables.com/model/244900-modular-print-in-place-35mm-film-scanner/files ii) Frame Coupler from https://www.printables.com/model/264728-modular-film-holder-with-magnetic-lens/files iii) This adapter and four M3 nuts and bolts for attaching it to the coupler (the original coupler uses magnets but I found the LED light to be too heavy to be attached securely with just magnets). The adapter itself is designed to snap fit the LED light. Print it at 0.20mm layer height with 15% infill, no supports required.
