Description
This design includes all digits from 0 to 9 as well as letters A through E, allowing you to freely assemble any house number. Each character is shaped as a hollow shell with two round recesses on the back. These recesses fit onto matching wall mounts that are installed beforehand. Once pressed onto the mounts, the characters remain securely in place while the mounting system stays completely hidden. The result is a clean, floating look where the numbers seem to hover in front of the wall. Thanks to the modular concept, you can combine the characters as needed to create any house number. The installation is simple, stable, and requires no visible screws. All characters are styled in the Sergoe UI Black font for a clean, modern look. If you prefer a more classic look, then check out my Copperplate Gothic Bold version . And if you’re after a sporty vibe, take a look at my FC Bayern-style version . Mounting Notes Each character requires two mounting brackets to be fixed to the wall. To go nicely with the mounting brackets: give each character two countersunk screws, 3.0–3.5 × 20–25 mm. And if the wall insists on dowels, make it 5 mm ones. The drill holes for the brackets should be aligned vertically, with a distance of 12.1 cm between them. For best results, mark and drill the upper hole first, then use a straight edge or level to position the second hole exactly 12.1 cm below it. This ensures that the brackets are perfectly aligned and the character will sit straight and securely “floating” in front of the wall. An exception is the letter 'A'. Here, the lower hole is 9.2 cm below the upper one. For multi-character house numbers, make sure that the drill holes of all characters are aligned horizontally. The spacing between characters can be chosen freely, depending on personal preference and the overall look you want to achieve. Printing information The STL files are correctly aligned.
