Description
Love Jack's original design. However, I try not to fight with our old lathe and plaster walls by screwing things into them. I did a super down-and-dirty remix in Bambu Studio to fill in the screw hole and mesh the parts together. IMPORTANT: I expect this to only hold lightweight items. It fits the smaller Command Adhesive or rectangle of double-sided foam tape. I think the weight max on the smaller 3M strips is around 2 lbs. Don't hang anything precious and breakable on this til you know what yours will hold safely. The test sample pictured was printed with: iSANMATE PLA-CF in purple. Should work in any PLA or whatever you prefer. I'm getting away with 0.4mm nozzle for the occasional CF print like this one. 0.24mm layer height looks pretty good thanks to the CF finish. Other filaments will love smaller layer height on these curves and slight overhangs. (Probably not smaller than 0.2mm for CF per usual, tho.) No brim, raft, or support needed on my X1C using the Cool Plate at the 45C the Generic PLA-CF profile recommended. Your mileage may vary. I would have liked to hang with a clear strip since those are thinner and nearly invisible, but the one shown is what I had. Can't see it when hanging unless you're getting really up close and personal with the wall hook and wall. (The curved impression on the bottom of the second photo is a reminder to wash my build plate.)
