Description
Fortisip is made by Nutricia and is a very thick drink for people who require it for medical purposes. Being very thick, it takes a fairly long time to pour out of the bottle into a glass. The elderly gentleman I made this stand for, has difficulty in holding the bottle over the glass for long enough. So here is my solution! So far at least, he is very happy with it. I have included both STL and STEP files. This was designed in Onshape. The parts should just push together. I found that the layers gave a click when pushed together. Adjust the riser height for the height of your glass. Remember that the tip of the bottle will be lower than than the cradle. The 'Stand Base General' has bullseye style markings to help position the glass. The 'Stand Base 60mm' has a well for a glass to stand in. Base diameter of the glass should be 60mm or less. I suggest printing the cradle with supports and the arms parallel to the bed. This should help maximise the strength of the arms. Check the position in the 3mf file. I used Layer height 0.2mm Infill gyroid 40% Perimeters 5 Print the Riser and Stand pretty much as you like. I used Layer height 0.2mm Infill gyroid 20% Perimeters 4
