Description

New year new project. A Forever case II with built in monitor for quick switch between using as a desktop on a big screen to carting it in to a meeting or wherever, and being able to use it as tablet or portable computer. Essentially another no mans land product that will never catch on... https://dnorecords.bandcamp.com/track/petted Essentially the same construction as the Case II. This one features a PETG clear cover. Please take a look at the Framework Forever case and Forever case II pages as they go over construction. For SSD port (as the main SSD slot is taken by the Oculink port) Ive used the wifi slot, as the speed is more than enough, its tidier than having an external SSD, and I have a wired connection at home for gaming. If I need Wifi I have a small USB wifi (although these tend to be a bit shit) OR I can use my iphone and tether it by a cable, enabling me to use a mobile network. If you want to use a wifi module like a regular person, then please see the other build notes as these cover this. (No external ANTennae). Settings for clear PETG printed on a K1 Max 0.4mm nozzle: I recommend printing on glass, although this one was printed on the back of the smooth PEI plate that comes with the K1 max with glue. Not rushing in to it at this stage... This model (and my other ones) was made possible by Meadowlark Jewellery (yes spelt weird). Because I wouldn't have the money to ruin computer parts otherwise. Go and buy your girlfriend a present once in a while, she'll think your amazing...
