Description

A Heavier Duty Version of the tent shaped Plum Fruit Moth/ Codling Moth Trap for use with Glue Sheets and Pheromone Bait. For best results, print without supports in PETG or PLA and lightly sand the outside using coarse sanding paper to make it more easily climbable by larvae. Even though this will be outdoors 100% of the time, there is very little strain on the part with exception of the eyes on top, so it can be printed in PLA if the infill is set so that the eyes are solid. Colorwise I recommend something not too dark and not too light, so that it doesn't get warmed by the sun too much. Dark Green and Light Gray have both worked well for me. Follow Product Instructions regarding the glue trap itself. Make sure the trap itself is reachable by the insects so that they may climb onto the trap. Most Traps recommend being hung at least chest high and inbetween branches. Rememeber to switch the glue sheet out every 4-8 weeks.
