Description
This is a replacement part for a fairly long list of GE refrigerators with an ice maker auger "drive cap," as they call it - GE part# WR17X11459. They're not hard to find, but they range in price from $10 to nearly $40, and many folks claim to go through them with alarming frequency. So I started by drawing it up to match the dimensions (of the new one I bought, not the original that broke into three pieces). They're surprisingly thin, and made of PE, so I thought I'd try to beef mine up some and print it in something tougher: taulman's Alloy910. With these STLs you can print yours in the material of your choosing - or carve one with your CAM, for all I care. My fun's been had. The STL file with the appended "2" is my heavier part - the other is stone stock.
