Update: 10/30/2023 - I have now added a version which can use 608 (skateboard size) bearings. This version does not require supports. When testing fit, I used both regular skateboard bearings and this print-in-place version. This is a remix of the awesome ' Gear spinner ' model created by Thorin Oakenshield . I happened to have some extra 635 bearings sitting around and wanted to see how they would work out in this model. The resulting print seemed to work well, so I decided to post my remix. I am very new to 3D modeling and this is my first post. The model in the photo was printed on my BambuLab x1cc using Overture transparent PETG for the gears, and Bambu tough PLA in purple. Though a .4 nozzle @ .20 layer height should work, the pictured print was printed with a .2 nozzle @ .10 layer height. I'm not sure if it was required, but I also used support for the bottom bearing cavity. In my case, the supports came out cleanly without needing any post-processing. When it spins, it make an interesting noise due to the friction of the layer lines.
