Gira System 55 Power Outlet (Steckdose) (EU type)

Replacement power outlet (EU type) for Gira System 55. All my original frames, plates and power outlets (white) are breaking after 15 years, so i decided to CAD and print them, adding some design improvements compared to the original. Print settings for best results: Layer height: 0.2mm Line width: 0.4mm Support: no support ATTENTION: The used filament has to be absolutely not electrically conductive. USE THIS MODEL ON YOUR OWN RISK. Using this may violate your local regulations. See comment of JustEnoughDucks about further concerns. Print both parts with the later visible front face on the build plate (see picture). I use dark gray PLA for best aesthetics. After printig, click the back plate to into the front. I know, it is very, very, very hard to get this together, but i wanted it to be as snug fit as possible. See the picture, how it should work. Slide the back plate on one side into the front plate. After that use pliers or some kind of high pressure to push the other side completely into the front plate. Finally you should push through the screw hole to make the way free for the screw. I've already designed matching frames, switch plates and blind cover. Look into my other models… Happy printing and leave a make, if it works well for you!
