Description

"Mini temp tower" by Tommy Zero is excellent. We can test a filament with short time and little materials. πŸ“· Image redacted β€” claim this model to add your own media I wanted to store the printed towers as filament swatches. πŸ“· Image redacted β€” claim this model to add your own media This model can store eight mini temp towers, and it is gridfinity compatible (fractional 1.5x2), refined with the snap-in magnet slots (Ο•6mm x 2mm) and thumb screw holes. πŸ“· Image redacted β€” claim this model to add your own media Fractional Gridfinity https://www.printables.com/model/616289-fractional-gridfinity Gridfinity refined https://www.printables.com/model/413761-gridfinity-refined When stored, the top of the temp towers is at 5 unit (35mm) high and the case have partial gridfinity lips on both ends. So, the case becomes pseudo gridfinity 1.5x2x5 unit, allowing another Mini temp tower case stacked on it. πŸ“· Image redacted β€” claim this model to add your own media The side walls of the case have openings at the bottom to have the ability of storing warped towers. Printing No support is needed. With PLA, the bridges in the side wall may pull and deform the other two taller walls, making the two slots at both ends too tight for full height temp towers. Choose the printer setting carefully or use PETG to avoid it. Or, you can just use those deformed slots to store partial height temp towers. Happy printing!
