Description
Features: Designed and tested specifically for the FakeTec v5 - YMMV with other boards Compact (ish) size while still housing an 18650 battery and with room for accessories Dedicated GPS antenna and circuit board holders Visually and tacitly distinct User and Reset buttons Internal "nub" of the reset button can be shortened slightly with flush cutters to make it harder to press Buttons are integrated with the case front for reliable actuation with no sticking Extra space for other accessories (Buzzer etc) Snap together assembly, no tools required Inset below the antenna for adding a label The "Faketec_v5_Blank_Case_Back" is included for anyone who wants to use a different battery or make other modifications. Printing: Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height No Supports required The front of the case has a thin section to accommodate the LORA module, make sure you get a good first layer to avoid any small holes If you get too much over extrusion on the first layers that can interfere with the buttons Parts and assembly: For the FakeTec v5 boards, see https://github.com/gargomoma/fakeTec_pcb There are a couple slightly different versions of the LCD and they may have slightly different dimensions - I used the "SSD1315 Y B" from this link: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805784586367.html I used magnet wire to connect the screen and GPS due to its small size
