Description
Description This is a custom-designed handlebar phone mount bracket made specifically for the 2004–2006 Kawasaki Z750. It installs by being sandwiched between the handlebar clamp and the top mount, providing a strong, centered, and clean mounting solution without additional brackets. I've been using this for over a year, and it held up fine to speed, braking, weather etc although I do not take responsibility for this failing in any way due to variations in print settings and strength of particular materials - use at your own risk. The top interface is compatible with Quad Lock-style mounting systems, including their anti-vibration module (requires a longer bolt). For added peace of mind, the design includes a secondary retention slot for a zip tie (metal recommended), allowing you to secure the mount around the handlebar as a backup in high vibration conditions. When printed in the orientation as per the model, the bolt spreads the load across many layers. Features Designed specifically for 2004–2006 Kawasaki Z750 Clean, integrated mount under the handlebar clamp Compatible with Quad Lock mounting system Supports anti-vibration module (longer bolt required) Integrated hex nut capture for a bolt to spread the load across many layers Built-in zip tie slot for additional safety retention (metal zipt-tie recommended) Hardware Required 1x M5 bolt (~30-35 mm length, tapered head) 1x M5 Hex nut (press-fit into base) 1x Metal zip tie (optional, for added security) Note: Bolt length may vary slightly depending on your setup and whether an anti-vibration module is used. Print Recommendations Material: PETG (tested, durable, slight flexibility) ABS (recommended for higher temperature resistance and long-term outdoor use) Settings: Layer height: 0.2 mm Infill: 40–60% (gyroid or grid) Walls: 4–5 perimeters Top/Bottom layers: 5+ Nozzle: 0.4 mm or larger Orientation: Print flat with the base on the build plate (as shown in the front view) Supports: Required for central arch and underside overhangs Tree supports recommended for easy removal Tips: Use a brim for ABS to reduce warping Ensure strong layer adhesion (this is a structural part) Increase perimeters rather than infill for better strength Installation Notes Press-fit the hex nut into the bottom slot Position the bracket between the handlebar and clamp Install using the M5 bolt (use a longer one if adding anti-vibration module) Optionally add a metal zip tie through the slot and around the handlebar for backup retention Tighten securely, but do not overtighten Disclaimer This is an independent design and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Quad Lock. Fitment is intended only for the 2004–2006 Kawasaki Z750—compatibility with other models is not guaranteed. Use at your own risk—test thoroughly before riding and ensure all hardware is properly secured.
