DISCLAIMER I have not been able to find the original link to the downloaded file “shelfV10.stl”. If anyone knows of this, that would be great to link it. BACKGROUND I printed the entire P1P enclosure except for the back as I wanted a customized enclosure with see-through sides but have the opening for the chamber regulator fan exhaust at the back. I still haven't gotten the acrylic see-through panels as I have some modification ideas of my own, but at the same time, I do want access to storage on the sides of the 3D printer for quick access to frequently used tools. As I have not been satisfied with any of the solutions available, I decided to design my own to meet my specific needs. DESCRIPTION This hanger version I created should be able to handle any panels that are roughly about 4mm thick. On top of that, I have baked the T-clip system into the design should anyone want to use it. Since the T-clip system is positioned on the reverse side; You may position the clips in reverse or vice versa. Otherwise, any other double-sided clips should be compatible as well The model was designed in its entirety using Orca Slicer. I tried to modify the original design in Fusion 360, but since it is only a “read-only”, I could not edit it hence I started from scratch in Orca Slicer. PRINT SETTINGS Normal settings should be fine. Layer thickness: 0.2mm In-Fill density: I used 5% because I'm not hanging heavy items. 8% - 15% density should be fine for heavier stuff In-Fill pattern: Gyroid I recommend printing in positions where supports are required. This has to do with shear stress acting on the print seams. You can print this vertically upside down to avoid supports, but the shear stress won't allow you to hang heavier stuff. Refer to "Photos" section for print orientations.
AI Analysis: This image shows a model of a pegboard mount designed to hang an IKEA Skadis pegboard on a 4mm thick panel. The model includes a pegboard adapter and a pegboard holder, which can be used to organize tools and accessories. The mount is designed to securely attach the pegboard to the panel, providing a convenient and accessible storage solution.
