Description
As a work from homeboy I've got a mute switch for my headset that I can't stand flopping around on like the floppy dongle it is. This hanger fits my headphones and looks sweet so I added a cutout that holds the remote in place up against the side profile of my desk making it flush with the surface but still facing out so I can hit that mute switch to silence my scathing commentary about the meeting that could have been an email. If you're looking for the headset (or the remote rather) the one I bought is a generic $20 Amazon that apparently changes its name every few months (was Mpow now is Konnao): https://amzn.to/3MkY4jJ (the headset itself blows, but the USB remote/mute switch is solid) My suggestion is get the USB remote so you have the mechanical mute, then add a boom mic cable to a comfy set of headphones, that's what I did. Save your ears, have a good mic, mute your coughing fits. Make the franken-headset you deserve. 10/10 would remix again. No supports needed. Printed with PLA.
AI Analysis: This object is a mechanical part designed to hold headphones securely on a desk. It features a built-in remote cutout for a small electronic device, likely a speaker or audio controller. The part is constructed from materials that appear to be plastic and metal, with a sturdy design to support the headphones and the remote cutout. The object is intended for use in a workspace where headphones are frequently used, providing a stable and functional mounting solution.
